OK, so the first official week of the Fellowship of the Burning Heart is complete! How did it go? Here's your first chance to check-in.
1. Did you spend at least 1 hour with the Lord every day?
2. What did God say to you during the week?
3. What was your biggest obstacle?
1. Yes
ReplyDelete2. To step out in faith when He calls me to do something and not wait around to figure everything out first.
3. Physically tired much of the week.
1. Almost. I know drive time doesn't usually count for people, but given that I have 40-45 minutes at the beginning and end of every work day, I get close to an hour of time with the Lord.
ReplyDelete2. I was reminded to be still, and was reminded that all of my fancy footwork and mental jumping jacks don't mean much. His plan does, and following HIS will is really the simplest way to go, even if it's not always the most pleasant in my short-sighted mind.
3. Taking what I KNOW in my head to be true and sending it into my HEART to feel it and live it.
1. yes
ReplyDelete2. be patient, take heart, and wait on the Lord--his plan and his timing are perfect; His promises are true; He takes great joy in working through the body of Christ; He is the God of Abraham and Noah...trust and obey.
3. my children were sick and therefore needed me more than usual which translated into less quiet time and less sleep
1. no
ReplyDelete2. That I need more of Him. I know that sounds like a "default answer" but there are times when it is just so clear where the problem is. I was also very thankful for His mercy this last week.
3. My biggest obstacle is laziness. I get lazy during the winter months and that makes it hard to get rolling again.
