Fellowship of the Burning Heart (June 21-27, 2010)

1.Did you spend at least 1 hour with the Lord every day?

2.What did God teach you or show you in your time with Him?

3.What was your biggest obstacle in spending time with the Lord?

4 comments:

  1. 1. Fell short one day
    2. The call is to abide IN CHRIST, not abide in ministry or abide in Christian activity
    3. Added more exercise and need to be even more diligent about managing my time.

  3. 1. I definitely did! :D I've been basking in a time of thanksgiving and how can we not thank the Lord for all He does - whether we want certain things when He sets them before us?
    2. My past hardships were not only given to me to teach me and strengthen my relationship, but the testimony they generate should be shared with others. Like all that the Lord gives, it is a gift and should be shared according to HIS WILL!
    3. Day-to-day tasks - getting a new house in order in additon to work duties and kids. But see #1 - I have been coming to Lord in all I do in a place of thanksgiving because I GET to do these things because of His blessings.

(can you tell I'm feeling His love a lot because I can't help but see it everywhere?)

  4. 1. I think I did but yet I think I fell short. My time with the Lord is in spurts so it's hard to know for sure.
    2. That I need to study, study, study. Study His Word, study how to debunk evolution and how to remain kind and gentle.
    3. Kids running all over the house causing much stress and when they go to bed, I'm tired.
