Fellowship of the Burning Heart 2.0

OK, so round one of the Fellowship of the Burning heart didn't seem to go the way I had planned.  Maybe the goal was too lofty.  Maybe the check-ins were too frequent.  That being said, it is time to revamp the Fellowship just a bit.  I hope that you will continue along.

So, here's how version 2.0 will work.  The primary goal is to spend time with God every day.  The suggested time frame is an hour a day, but feel free to set your own goal.  Maybe you need to start smaller.

Rather than checking in every week, we will check-in once a month.  This time, there will be just basic questions that you can elaborate on as much or as little as you want.  Here are the two check-in questions;

1. Did you meet your goal this month?  Whatever that goadl happened to be for you.  This IS NOT about boasting or who can do the most.  Just know what your goal is and be honest about whether you met that goal.

2. What did God most teach you/do in your heart during the previous month?

Again, this is not for boasting or attention getting.  If comments seem to lean that way, they will be deleted.  This is about creating accountability for spending time with God every day.  This is about giving testimony to God for the lessons He is teaching us.  And this is about praying for others who desire to pursue Christ, as well.

No need to "sign-up."  Stop back the first week of the month to submit your check-in.  Let me know if you want an e-mail reminder, or join our Facebook group, as I will post a reminder there, also.  To receive an e-mail reminder, send me a note at abideministries@yahoo.com

So, are you still in?

  1. I did not meet my goal, but I have been spending more time in the Word.

    God has exposed some of my self-righteousness.

    God bless.
